Our thesis is simple. We invest in mature, profitable, North American companies whose CEOs or owners are in this selective community, and we empower them with AI/tech expertise to fuel new stages of growth and unlock value. We only make investments when we have clear line-of-site to a tech-driven increase in enterprise value. Industry sectors are Industrials (e.g., Construction, Manufacturing, Infrastructure), Life Sciences, and Healthcare where technology is generally underutilized. We also invest in AI Supply Chain and Digital Infrastructure.

Three major events converged to form Y Capital:
1) Up until 2021, I was a software entrepreneur, with three exits and a an AI company that backed into the pandemic. I have amassed years of experience starting, growing, buying, and selling tech companies, particularly in Manufacturing, Clinical Trials, and Pharma R&D.
2) Three years ago, I stepped away from operating to move into private equity, working alongside deal teams at several large firms, notably Warburg Pincus.
3) For the past 11 years, I have fully embraced this special community of CEOs, which I can't name out of respect for its members, serving ultimately, as the leader of the cohort of its entrepreneurs (10,000 members).
These three worlds converged in 2022 to form Y Capital. Today, we have our first investment complete, and are raising a fund to move quickly on future investments.
