An analyst-class capability that prepares standardized Analysis Reports on targets and portfolio companies. Fast, consistent, and investor-grade. Easily invite companies or quickly generate reports yourself to stay on top of a portcos or pursue, monitor, or pass on deals with confidence. (Decision support, not investment advice.)
- Information Request List (IRL) workflow. A short, structured management intake replaces deck/CIM uploads, ensuring current, comparable data
- Common‑size & normalization adjustments. Vertical analysis of P&L/BS/CF with normalizing adjustments (e.g., non‑recurring items) to arrive at adjusted/normalized metrics (e.g., EBITDA) and a clean fact base.
- Working capital & cash conversion. DSO/DPO/DIO and cash conversion cycle (CCC) to assess liquidity discipline and operational efficiency.
- Benchmarks & peers across 55+ sectors and any stage. Gap analysis against sector‑ and stage‑appropriate baselines.
- Unit economics & cohorts (where applicable). LTV/CAC, CAC payback, retention/cohort views, plus non‑SaaS equivalents (margin bridge, price‑volume‑mix) to judge growth quality.
- Pre‑QoE screen. Light quality‑of‑revenue/earnings checks to flag non‑recurring items, seasonality, recognition issues, and cash‑to‑earnings gaps (formal QoE remains third‑party).
- Valuation frame & sensitivities. Trading comps/precedent‑transaction frameworks and “what‑needs‑to‑be‑true” scenarios using management‑attested inputs from the intake.
- IC‑ready output & governance. A standardized Analysis Report with issues list, management Q&A, source/provenance notes, audit trail, and exports for the IC memo and data room.
The Yellowwood Analyst is licensed to approved capital partners who invest directly and do not compete with Y Capital.
